Measure L2010 will improve our schools so ALL of our children have the same high quality classrooms and facilities WITHOUT increasing taxes.

Measure L is an $8 million school bond on the June 8th ballot, which provides funds to benefit ALL children who attend our high-performing Hope School District community schools WITHOUT increasing taxes.

Measure L is a fiscally responsible means of making needed core infrastructure improvements to our three neighborhood schools, while also infusing them with ongoing energy cost savings from a solar conversion that improves the bottom line.

Measure L funds will provide a district-wide computer education platform comparable to those of other top-performing schools to prepare our students to succeed. It will also build a permanent library and performance stage for our students.

Measure L is a timely initiative that takes advantage of expiring energy credits, which will bring the district more than $900,000 over the next 5 years.

Measure L will not weigh homeowners with a greater tax burden. Measure L extends a current parcel tax at current rates in order to fund these critical programs.
